Pre-production
Pre-production was integral to our integration of technologies within this project. We used a range of hardware, software and online to finalise this project and complete it with excellence. Pre-production involved research of conventions and target audiences as well as planning, developing concepts, pitching ideas and improving / evolving them due to constructive feedback and reception from teachers.
Online
'WhatsApp'

Using ‘WhatsApp’ was fundamental to our production group’s communication in regards to the development of our opening sequence. This social media platform is where we discussed ordering the correct costuming for the sequence from ‘Amazon Prime’, refining and developing our ‘shoot day schedule’ by finalizing timings and credentials of the day, clarifying our ‘storyboarding’ and the shots that accompany one another and discussing fresh concepts and ideas to develop our sequence. We integrated this form of online technology to progress and expand / evolve our final opening sequence which we did successfully.
Using ‘Blogger’ was imperative to my research, planning and development regarding our final opening sequence. I used Blogger as a platform to express my newly found concepts in regards to our initial pitches which were created using ‘Google Slides’. We presented our pitches to the class and received feedback on how to improve and if we were able to continue with the concept as our main plot line / idea of our sequence. We used Blogger for ‘independent research’ where we explored topics & themes regarding our sequence that bettered our knowledge of the sequence’s narrative, characters, or general ambience, atmosphere and or style of the sequence. We also conducted planning on Blogger, where we created ‘test shoots’ using our iPhones to provide a framework of the structure of our sequence. We then used this test shoot to develop our ‘storyboarding’ which is also discussed on Blogger.

Using ‘IMDB’ was also essential to my research, planning and development regarding our final opening sequence. When creating blogs on ‘Blogger’ I used screenshots of prominent film posters to provide further information to the viewer in regards to the film being elaborated upon. IMDB was also a source of critical information necessary to complete specific tasks. For example, when creating my ‘similar products and conventions’ blog post it was a requirement to provide the studio, year of release, director and top-billed cast and IMDB acquired the correct data to utilise within my blog post that led me to an excellent mark. I used IMDB to review trailers of similar products of my opening sequence to gather required information for various blog posts that again led me to a superb mark. Furthermore, IMDB acquires an excellent selection of crucial data necessary to complete assignments and I found it useful as a technology throughout this project’s development process.

'Amazon Prime'

Using ‘Amazon Prime’ was vital to my planning and development regarding our final sequence. In early stages of development, we began constructing mood boards in regards to ‘costuming’. When it became closer to the infamous ‘shoot day’ we began purchasing the costumes required. We also created a blog post regarding mood boards in relation to costume, where we used screenshots from Amazon Prime of appropriate costuming for our sequence. Furthermore, Amazon Prime acquires a superb collection of clothing appropriate for costuming necessary to complete our final opening sequence.

Hardware
'iPhone XR'

'Beats Headphones'
Using my iPhone was essential to my planning regarding our final sequence. I used the video function of my iPhone to record our test shoot, this heavily contributed to the development of my opening sequence as newly composed shots were constructed. My iPhone acquired apps that I used proficiently that benefited the success of my development throughout this project, such as ‘iMovie’.
'MacBook Pro'
Using my MacBook Pro was fundamental to my planning and research regarding our final sequence. I used ‘Blogger’ a website provided by Google an internet search engine acquired by the MacBook Pro. Using Blogger was integral to my planning and research, as I used it as a platform that demonstrates my development, elaborating upon methodologies, fresh concepts and workshops throughout the course.

My Beats headphones played an instrumental role in accomplishing work regarding developing my final sequence. To ensure that I could maintain pure focus, I would listen to a relaxing playlist ideal for studying to enable concentration. The noise-cancelling element also prevented distraction which ultimately contributed to my overall fixation.
Software
'iMovie'
Using the software ‘iMovie’ was elemental to my planning regarding our final sequence. I the app iMovie acquired by my iPhone for editing purposes. When time struck to edit our test shoot, I instantaneously exploited the functions and effects within the app to create a framework for our final opening sequence, that contributed profoundly to my development within this project.

'Word'

Using the software ‘Word’ was inherent to my success in planning regarding development of our final opening sequence. I used Word to take notes during fundamental classes that required notetaking to further my understanding of the process. An example of this was when we learnt ‘storyboarding’ I took notes that contributed to my blog and my overall development throughout this project.
